Start Date: March 22 SCOPE OF PROJECT Summary: Client is implementing SAP for state government business processes related to finance, budgeting, grants management, materials management, human resources and payroll. Under supervision of the Training Team Lead, the Intermediate/professional technical trainer will serve as a member of the Enterprise Change and Communications Team for the SC Enterprise Information System (SCEIS). The Intermediate/Professional Technical Trainer will focus on training, learning and performance of South Carolina State Agencies and assessment of their abilities to conduct business processes in the SCEIS/SAP solution. In conjunction with the Training Team Lead, plans, develops, delivers, documents, assesses and reports Project training, student learning, and performance. Designs training, online help, classes, workshops and electronic training. Delivers training to a vairety of audiences, understanding and applying adult learning principles. The Intermediate/Professional technical trainer should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of work (i.e. Business, Education, Information Technology) or at least 2 years equivalent work experience. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Serves as an enterprise trainer for the SCEIS Enterprise Change and Communications Team in assigned business areas by training new SCEIS project members, Agency trainers, and customer-learners. Works with vendors, SCEIS functional team members, and Agency Support Teams to properly assess, develop, deliver, evaluate and report training (online and face-to-face). All training should incorporate South Carolina code and regulations, SCEIS/SAP best practices, and workforce transitioning. Assists with curriculum development, class scheduling, student registration and testing, awarding of certificates, and transcripts for the approximated 51,000 customers-learners targeted by the SCEIS project. Works with other Project teams, as necessary, and Agencies to develop appropriate documentation and performance measures for training, learning and performance, job aids, promotional materials, and Website information.
