Description: Test Team Lead
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day activities of test team, including automation engineer
Attend daily and weekly status meetings
Assess current test case repository and requirement traceability
Determine task lists and effort estimates then communicate information to managers
Develop and implement test plans/strategies
Contribute to and guide the automation plan
Assign work to team members, including yourself
Attend release planning meetings
Create test plans, test reports and other metrics applicable to project
Test software releases
Required skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full lifecycle project experience
Practical experience with Quality Assurance and Testing Processes
Managed a Test Team of at least 5 people for at least 5 years
Automation testing concepts
QTP script development
Load and Performance testing concepts
SQL query development
Defect tracking tool usage
Test management tool usage (Quality Center)
Ability to see the big picture and know when it is appropriate to go into detail
Preferred skills:
DOORS or other requirements management tool
Borland StarTeam
