Project Manager

Duties: Delivers projects within scope, budget and timelines

Lead the Single Global IT Portfolio project, which seeks to unify the IT Project Portfolio systems of two organizations. As the Project Manager, the role will involve communicating with decision makers, solving technical problems and promoting solution adoption in the user communities. Success in this role will result in a fully implemented Global IT Project Portfolio system, on time, with strong user adoption and minimal technical issues.

Essential duties:Project control:
- Understand and manage project scope. Use Change Orders to record and approve any scope changes.
- Manage issues and risks to resolution or mitigation, involving key stakeholders in solution.
- Evaluate and ensure high quality of major project deliverables, such as training plans
- Determine, acquire, maintain and control project resource allocations
- Set and meet (or exceed) clear expectations on project deliverable delivery dates

Project communication:
- Publish regular status updates for stakeholder groups, communicating 1:1 where necessary and appropriate
- Create innovative communication channels and content when dictated by project need
- Address a global audience with communications, taking into account cultural factors
- Present project status updates in meetings, when necessary
- Drive strong user adoption through innovative Change Management efforts

Skills: - Minimum 5-10 years of project management or IT Management
- Minimum 3 years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
- Scheduling and budgeting experience in a large IT organization

Education: - PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.
