JOB DESCRIPTION
Serve as the Project Team Lead, responsible for business process modeling and customer liaison. Responsible for working with management and intranet/web site and application developers to ensure that HIPAA standards are met. Responsible for the loading, maintenance and tuning of a large Oracle database.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The equivalent of five (5) or more years of full time experience as an Oracle Database Developer with Unix based Oracle databases in the multi-terabyte range.
The equivalent of three (3) or more years of full time experience in a project involving databases of health care claims and/or health care eligibility data and/or other highly confidential data in a government agency or a company involved in the administration, implementation or operation of a health care program, such as Medicaid, Medicare or a third party health insurance company.
Two (2) years experience with supervising other staff in the execution of complex programming and analytic assignments.
Experience with meeting HIPAA requirements (Desirable)
Experience with medical claims, especially Medicaid claims (Desirable).
The DOH/OHIP Data Mart is designed to be the primary reporting tool of OHIP. It will be accessed by OHIP staff with vastly different levels of ability. It is crucially important that consultant staff have the ability to work closely with staff of various level of computer literacy. |
