•  Direct Client Requirement

Position Description:
•Deliver design and development projects on time, on budget, with delighted customers and a happy team
•Create and track project plans
•Perform business analysis and write specifications
•Follow process standards to meet project objectives
•Develop project estimates
•Manage scope throughout the project lifecycle
•Manage teams of up to 2-8 people including designers, architects, developers, QA
•Provide motivation and direction to the team
•Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to the team
•Manage multiple elements (software, kits, training materials, documentation, etc) that come together to launch a new product
•Manage customer, third-party partner and vendor relationships as necessary
•Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to senior management
•Set project quality and performance standards
•Share knowledge and learning and contribute to the development of project management practice

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree

Technical Skill Requirements:
•2+ years in role of project manager using a formal software development lifecycle
•5 - 12 yrs total experience
•Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
•Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from concept to delivery
•Direct managerial responsibility for 2+ individuals
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Strong team work and interpersonal skills
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•Demonstrated leadership capacity (teams of 5 or more in multi-disciplinary environments- e.g., technology, user experience, design)
•Excellent organization skills; creativity and objective-oriented focus
•Experience working in education is not required but would be a bonus
