Title: Senior SDE

Job description:

Do you want to work on the key components of the Windows management
platform? The platform that will run from Windows Mobile on one end,
and the largest Windows servers in data centers on the other end. Are
you interested in making that platform interoperable and enhancing
management standards?"

The position is for a Senior SDE. The responsibilities will include
participation in designing the new platform and developing the key
core components of the new WMI. You will be responsible for executing
on a pipeline of interrelated and overlapping deliverables that spans
multiple product lines. If you are excited about delivering new
functionality to millions of Windows users, working closely with
Architects and Distinguished Engineers in the Management and Services
Division, and producing high-quality software designs and code, our
team is the place for you!

A successful candidate will must demonstrate:
* Excellent coding skills in C#, C or C++
* Strong software engineering background like data
structures and algorithms
* Passion for high performance, scalability, and reliability
* Passion for keeping the interfaces simple and straight forward
* Passion for solving hard problems and a willingness to learn
* A proven track record for shipping quality software on time
* The ability to work within product teams and across product groups
* A BS or MS in computer science or related field with 5-7
years experience as a developer
