Under direct supervision, assists with the installation and support of network communications, including LANs and/or WANs. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations involving readily identifiable problems. Assists in the planning of large scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Typically requires a college degree and some knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications. 4 - 6 years of experience.
Work with the network engineering teams to build, maintain, and support PepsiCo''s network monitoring and tools infrastructure. Design and build performance reports and dashboards for site level issues and historical reporting. Update and maintain the Network Services web dashboard/web site as needed.
Work as part of a network engineering team to design web based applications that extract data from network management tools to create “wow factor” informational displays that translate technical information into a for.

Recquired:
Cisco
- Must have experience building dynamic, data-driven web pages that use MySQL as abackend data source.
- Expertise in XHTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Expertise with JavaScript libraries (specifically jQuery and jQuery UI).
- Expertise in PHP and Perl necessary.
- Must be strong in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Basic understanding of network topology and design.
- Experience with Cisco IOS, SNMP, Netflow a plus
